This weekend was a bit of an emotional roller coaster for us and not in a fun way. It was an emotional roller coaster in the sense that it made me feel nauseous, anxious, inconsolable, had me weeping like an emotionally disturb child and also made me feel blissful and optimistic. And no, I was not on drugs or experiencing some adverse reaction from my prescription medication. You see this weekend we had our baby shower and on the eve of this very special day our cat died. The death of our beloved cat was a very traumatic experience and caused both hubby and I to have a serious of emotional clusterfucks, the timing of which could not have been anymore inconvenient.

During a recent appearance on Bravo and Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, WWE Super Star John Cena encouraged other wrestlers who may be considering coming out of the closet, to do so, just as wrestler Darren Young did last year.
“My thing is this, if you’re good at your job, I don’t judge,” Cena said. “Darren is really good at his job, he’s a wonderful performer, he’s a great entertainer and it’s a very, very bold move that he made to come out. So he certainly is very a brave individual for doing that… He can be himself and nobody judges him around here.”

AMSTERDAM, January 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ – The adoption of an “Anti-Gay Propaganda Law” caused an enormous outrage in the LGBT-community and the rest of the world. Gay dating platform PlanetRomeo surveyed 1,526 Russian users on how these laws influence them in their daily life, if they face any form of anti-gay discrimination, and how the world can offer help to improve the situation for the LGBT community in Russia. The opinions are divided.
A slight majority of 53% doesn’t support these Anti-Gay Propaganda Laws at all. In addition, 34% think these laws should be revised. The laws are supported by a mere 8%. Many of the respondents have another remarkable view on these laws: the law might just serve as a distraction from other problems in Russia, like corruption and absence of justice.
